Three ways to track a load
Plenty of operations do not run everything across a scale. Most software assumes you do. You choose how loads are tracked, per forage type, and the entry screen changes to suit.
Scale weights
Gross and tare typed per load. The most exact option, and what most custom harvesters use.
Estimated weights
Each truck carries a default loaded weight that fills itself in. Good when the scale is a long way from the field.
Load count only
The weight fields disappear from the screen entirely and FarmingMode just counts loads. Nothing to type, nothing left blank.

The session header

- The day the work happened.
- Grower and field
- From your own lists, so a field's history stays in one place.
- Acres and cutting
- Harvest acres, and whether it is 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
- Delivery
- Where the loads went: a pile, a bag, a bunker, another farm.
- Dry matter %
- Optional. Put it in and the dry tons work themselves out.

Got a load wrong? Fix it without unpicking the day
Loads can be corrected after the fact from an edit screen. A transposed weight or the wrong truck does not mean redoing the session.

Worth being straight about
FarmingMode does not read scale tickets automatically and does not connect to scale hardware. Weights are typed in, estimated from the truck, or not tracked at all if you pick load count only.
