What went on the field, and when
Planting, spraying, wheat harvest and baling. Every chemical in the tank with its rate, the wind and the temperature when you sprayed, and crops tracked down to the variety so you can compare hybrids later.

What the Crop Management module gives you
- A spray record with the conditions on it — date, field, wind, temperature and every product with its rate, written down at the time rather than remembered later.
- Know which hybrid did what — crops and varieties are tracked separately, and seasons stay apart, so you can compare across fields and years.
- Everything ties back to a field — planting, spraying, harvest and baling all hang off the same field list.
- Wheat by the load — in weight, empty weight, moisture percentage and which elevator or bin it went to.
- Find the bales in February — material, shape, weights and the storage location, recorded when you baled them.
- Season totals in a spreadsheet — planting and spraying totals by grower, field, crop or date.

Four kinds of day, all the same shape
A header for the day, then a row for each thing that went on or came off. The same pattern as the rest of FarmingMode.
Planting
- Date, grower, field
- From your own lists.
- Crop and variety
- Corn, and then which hybrid.
- Seeding rate and depth
- Seeds per acre, plus how deep it went.
- Applications
- A row per chemical applied at planting with its rate. Starter fertiliser, insecticide, whatever went on.
Spraying
- Date, grower, field
- From your own lists.
- Wind and temperature
- Typed in by whoever sprayed.
- Notes
- Nozzles, water rate, why you went when you went.
- Products
- A row for each thing in the tank with its rate.
Wheat harvest and baling
- Wheat, per truck
- In weight, empty weight, moisture percentage, and the elevator or bin.
- Bales, per load
- Material and shape, full and empty weight, the truck, and where they are stored.
The wind and the temperature are not just for you
If anybody ever asks about a spray decision later, the conditions on the day are written down next to what went in the tank and at what rate. That is a much better answer than trying to remember.
Worth being straight about
This is a record of what you did. FarmingMode does not do yield mapping, soil sampling or agronomic recommendations, and it does not pull weather from anywhere. The wind and the temperature are typed in by the person who was there.
